Hot New Cake Crush: Breadbelly's Peach Castella

BY TAMARA PALMER

Breadbelly is a frequent personal indulgence out here in San Francisco’s Avenues that is always good for a creative sugar and caffeine buzz. Frequent purchases include a rich chocolate soba-ko cookie, brown butter peanut mochi and the black sesame horchata and watermelon lychee-scented black tea, but there’s a seasonal showstopper of a cake available at the moment that you might want to crush on before stone fruit season is over.
