Al Pastor Papi Donates 700 Meals in May

Today, Al Pastor Papi is delivering the first batch of 700 free meals that the truck plans to serve this month to underserved communities in San Francisco: 160 portions of chicken adobo with garlic rice and Roma tomato that will be divided between the city’s Filipino Community Center and Poder SF.

Al Pastor Papi chef and owner (and dear friend) Miguel Escobedo launched a GoFundMe campaign in order to raise $7,000 for the effort. The goal has almost been reached — please help it along to the finish line if you can!

This kind community initiative is in addition to Al Pastor Papi’s regular business — check the Instagram feed for up-to-date info on hours and where the truck will be daily. He’s mainly been selling in front of Harmonic Brewing (1050 26th Street), where you can pick up some beer to go to accompany your tacos, burritos, tortas and other special items.
