POV: You're Eating @ Gucci Osteria With Gucci Mane

The most fun and unpretentious high-end tasting menu I’ve experienced thus far is the seven-course Under the Palms menu at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura, which is a Michelin-starred restaurant located on the roof of the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. This restaurant doesn’t need to be as solid as it is to be popular, and I didn’t expect to be so delighted. At $220 per person, it is a serious investment that I have rarely spent on dinner, but I would love to do it again one day.
As you’re about to see, the menu is very playful, so I thought it would be a good idea to pull a bit of a cheeky art prank there: I brought Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane’s autobiography with me so that I could have dinner with Gucci at Gucci. Here’s how the evening unfolded:
