Tarts de Feybesse Is Back

Back in 2016, I got a hot tip about an insanely wonderful home-based pastry business called Tarts de Feybesse that was operating strictly by word of mouth in Napa and eagerly shared the news with the Bay Area via a story in the San Francisco Chronicle.

Monique and Paul Feybesse met when they worked together as savory chefs at Geranium, Cophenhagen’s first three star Michelin restaurant, and later worked at Ledoyen in Paris before coming back to live in the Bay Area (where Monique is from). Both had high-pressure day jobs as chefs when they started Tarts de Feybesse four years ago, and the project was short-lived at the time as they focused on those day jobs and on starting their family.

But now, Tarts de Feybesse has returned to get us through this current life. You can find their sweets on Tuesdays at Magnolia Mini Market in Oakland and can contact them via the link above to request a delivery in Napa or San Francisco.

Their menu changes often, but some favorites stick around for a season. Here’s a look at what I’ve gotten in my last two orders.
