Vegan Mob Pulls Up to South Bay

Oakland’s Vegan Mob, which has been open for just over a year in the former Kwik-Way Drive-In, will soon open a location for pickup and delivery in San Jose.
Founder Toriano Gordon is also known as rapper Don Toriano, and he made a theme song and video that gives you an audiovisual idea of the flavor of Vegan Mob.
Owner Toriano Gordon told Eater SF in June that his Oakland lease is up in April 2021 and he would like to find a new location in the Town, and he’s also looking for a spot to open in his birthplace, San Francisco.
“My people have been moved out, and we’ve been gentrified,” he told the publication of SF. “This is my time — this is our time — to say, ‘Hey, you need me — now let me in.’”
