Tupac's Lunch at In-N-Out
BY TAMARA PALMER
YouTube channel The Art of Dialogue has an impressive collection of interviews relating to Tupac Shakur that each illuminate something unknown about the late rapper. One of the recent videos features a chat with former NFL player Larry Croom, who was playing football at Snoop Dogg’s alma mater Long Beach Polytechnic High (read my throwback interview with Snoop’s favorite high school teacher, Mrs. Clark).
What does this have to do with food? Okay, let’s get to the point — on their way back home from Las Vegas, Croom and his team stopped at (the morally bankrupt) In-N-Out Burger in Barstow, CA on September 7, 1996. He details a memorable run-in with Tupac, Suge Knight and their entourage before they could even get inside to get an animal style.
It’s a wild story to hear that also provides some additional context to Tupac’s last day alive — the Bleacher Report has more accounts of the day.
